In Okinawa, Japan, Jasmine Tea is known as Sanpin Cha (?????).

Jasminum is also used as an essential oil in aromatherapy. It is specifically used in dermatology as either an antiseptic or anti-inflammatory agent.Jasminum officinale L. var. grandiflorum is a folk medicine used for the treatment of hepatitis in south of China.
The aroma of Jasmine is described as calming and soothing without being soporific, and is indicated for depression and stress - as well as some respiratory conditions. It is indicated for sensitive skin conditions too.
Jasmine Absolute is used in Perfume and Incense.
But mostly Jasmine has a reputation as an aphrodisiac and used for all kinds of sexual problems, lol!

Pachytrition salamander can be easy recognized by their eellike skin. They are regularely imported from their home country China through the pettrade and make up for a very bad choice of pet. The animals are very stress sensitive , so they quickly die when ont kept adequate. They also prefe cooler , well oxygenated water with lots of hide-outs. Due to their territorialism it's almost impossible to keep more then 1 male in tank , however large you make it. Their agressive behavior can best be compared to the wellknow betta fish ( Betta splendens) . They normally do not leave the water at all. Here we did get it out in order to photograph this specimen, which was at that time believed to be a new undescribed form , now known as Pachytriton 'D'. This animal was huge ( > 20 cm) and had a red-orange tone color.
